# 1.5 - Authorised Equipment and Vehicles

Below is a list of equipment and vehicles that you can use. Be advised that you can only select from the list below unless otherwise specified.​<br /><br />**Equipment**

Below is a list of the standardized equipment that you must carry during an active shift:

* Cell Phone
* Radio
* Coil Stun Gun
* Nightstick or Flashlight
* DOC Badge
* First Aid Kit
* Body Armor

Below is a list of recommended, but not required, additions to the standardized equipment:

* Food
* Water
* IFAK
* Tourniquet
* Spare ammo
* Smart Watch
* Night Vision Goggles

Below is a list of weapons that ERT staff may use while conducting ERT-specific duties. 

You **<u>MUST</u>** be certified to use any of these weapons:

* Beanbag Shotgun
* SIG MCX SMG
* H\&K 416
* Shield
* Sentinel Shotgun<br />

    For Emergency Response Team Personnel, you are authorised to use the Chevy Tahoe for high-risk inmate transports.
