In the Department Of Corrections Emergency Response Team, we hold ourselves to a higher standard than your average corrections officer. To keep this high standard there are a list of rules in place. Any breach of these rules will lead to a strike and possible termination from the unit, and possibly removal from the department.
Respect Everyone
At all times respect your fellow Operators, and speak to them in a respectful and professional manner. It is highly encouraged to address them in a formal manner, especially your higher ups. At all times respect Civilians, State Workers and any other unknown entities that you may encounter here in your time with the Emergency Response Team. Please speak to them in a respectful manner and address them accordingly.
No Insubordination
Insubordination is not tolerated here in the Emergency Response Team. If your Team Leader tells you to do something, you do it with no questions asked. If you believe the order goes against the SOPs or the best interest of your or your comrades’ lives, file a report with Command.
Chain of Command
Chain of Command is to be followed at all times. All training officers and supervisors have been placed in their roles for a reason, and following the Chain of Command is of high importance.

Use Common Sense
Common sense must be practiced. If you have any questions about what you can and can’t do ask your supervisor, and there is no supervisor on duty/available, then the answer is NO.
